Fort Crevecoeur Annual
French & Indian War Event
Fort Crevecoeur State Park is proud to present a program on August 1st & 2nd of 2015 recreating the various Native American, Colonial, and European powers involved in the French and Indian War also known as the Seven Years War (1754-1763).
French Colonial Marines will garrison Fort Crevecoeur during the event. British forces will be located nearby. There will be mock battles on both days. Food, crafts and
souvenirs will be available for sale from vendors at the park.
Living history demonstrations will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Living history participants will be dressed and equipped as they appeared in Colonial North America during the 18th century.
